Communion expresses our common faith in Jesus Christ and is all about Jesus as we remember Him. Keeping our focus on Jesus helps us to avoid being distracted by side issues. Jesus instituted Communion as a way for His disciples [and all believers] to remember His sacrificial death and resurrection.
